Receptionist

This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and team members, ensuring every interaction is handled with warmth and professionalism. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing phone calls and emails, coordinating schedules, maintaining a tidy and welcoming office environment (including shared spaces), and assisting with light administrative tasks. The receptionist also supports the office team with organization, communication, and special projects as needed, helping keep daily operations running smoothly.

They have prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative position, with strong communication skills, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently.

Job Location: This is a fully in-person position. Our office is located at 2300 E. Katella Ave., Suite 405, Anaheim, CA 92806.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients, guests, and team members with warmth and professionalism (both in person and by phone).

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and messages, ensuring they are directed promptly to the right team member.

  • Handle scheduling, meeting coordination, and calendar support for our leadership team.

  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming office environment.

  • Perform light cleaning around the office beyond your own workstation, including the kitchen and other shared spaces.

  • Support the administrative team with document handling, mail distribution, and client correspondence.

  • Assist with special projects, client events, and other operational needs as assigned.

Compensation

$22.50 - $27.50 per hour

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role within a professional office environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with clients and colleagues.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with online scheduling platforms.

  • Comfortable learning new technologies and office systems quickly.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the firm in a positive manner at all times.

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented attitude, with a willingness to assist wherever needed—including light cleaning of shared office spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a public accounting or tax firm.
